Thursday, September 3, 2009 blood donation .:my very 1st blood donation:. went to donate blood today....finally! actually i wanted to donate last year in sa.but at that time the queue was very long..so end up dint go.haha. anyway.met up with lynn after her korean tutorial then we went there together. but she couldn't donate as expected..cos the nurse couldn't find her vein..haha so yea..i went through everything alone=X was super scared when i sat there alone waiting to suffer donate..then i saw this guy sitting right beside me who was in the process of donating.he looked very pale and gonna faint at anytime.the nurses kept asking him okay anot okay anot.. omg!dun scare me! then it was my turn.. the nurse took quite a while poking my arm..cos she said my vein not visible..LOL.i think throughout the whole thing.i kept facing away.really dun dare to see..OUCH! 手下留情~~ the whole thing ended quite fast.maybe around 2mins.then the next thing i saw was my blood packet. omg.it was such a HUGE packet.450ml is really alot man~ my bandaged arm. the medicine they gave to help me restore iron level after donation. looks like the pills were made of blood.LOL i was also given this cream..cos the nurse told me i have bruise around the wound.. so after i removed the bandage..i saw..............err.....the bruise.. i decided not to show here.cos will surely affect your appetite..haha it looks like a patch of blood stain with a hole at middle. and it now turned purple. ewwww... hmm.actually i think the blood donation was okay.not as painful as i expected..just felt a bit giddy afterwards..have been sleeping for the whole afternoon.now feel better le (: and.. can you believe i have already drunk 7 bottles of water for today alone.. that equals to the amount i drink for the whole week in normal circumstances. and now..i shall go drink some more.haha
